About the Role:

The Assistant Superintendent plays a critical role in supporting the Superintendent to ensure the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This position involves overseeing daily operations on-site, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Assistant Superintendent acts as a key liaison between project management, field personnel, and clients to facilitate clear communication and timely resolution of issues. By closely monitoring project progress and resource allocation, this role helps to maintain budgetary and timeline goals. Ultimately, the Assistant Superintendent contributes to delivering high-quality construction projects that meet or exceed client expectations while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory role, preferably as a foreman or assistant superintendent.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
