Job description

SUMMARY:

The inside sales position is responsible for completing quotations, sales, customer returns, and provides sales support to outside sales people. This position also works to maintain customer contact, assist in miscellaneous projects, retain and strengthen customer relationships.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to all customer inquiries.
  • Determine vehicle specificationsfor orders.
  • Track customer requests, calculate and provide quotes, orders and altered options, provide follow up and drive closure.
  • Expedite and follow-up on customer orders and resolve customer issues .
  • Maintain relationship with outside sales staff and support and assist in orders.
  • Process and maintain sales orders and change orders.
  • Perform related sales support activies as assigned.
  • Order parts using on - line parts manuals, engineering prints, and photographs .
  • Coordinate with buyer for special part purchases.
  • Ensures first pass phone percentage of 92% or better .
  • Provide support and guidance to shipping department personnel.
  • Locate appropriate service center and coordinate repair of truck .
  • Communicate issue to Technical Engineering support for solution .
  • Ensure proper handling of all warrant issues.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

    HS Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred)
