We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Mechanical Engineering Assistant will assist the Mechanical Engineering team in a short term, temporary capacity with mechanical design work, modeling, analysis, testing, validation, materials selection, manufacturing readiness, documentation, and product reliability.

Requirements:
  • Complete mechanical design and drawing responsibilities or engineering changes
  • Provide daily support to mechanical engineering team, as required/necessary
  • Convert 2D AutoCAD drawings to SolidWorks drawings and 3D models, both parts and assemblies
  • Perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures


Education/Experience:

  • Enrollment in accredited Engineering program, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Civil Engineering
  • Classroom experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks


Other Requirements:

  • Team player, with patience and skill to train and mentor others
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
