We offer competitive pay, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, paid life insurance, paid time off, 11 paid holidays, performance bonuses, tuition reimbursement, unlimited training, and the opportunity to thrive in a collaborative, flexible, and innovative environment.

Concept Plus is seeking a Senior React/JavaScript UI Developer to support an enterprise-scale application operating in secure client environments, including Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, and Limited (DDIL) communication conditions. This role requires deep expertise in React, Vue, Node.js, Progressive Web Applications (PWAs), and Electron-based desktop application development, along with a strong understanding of secure coding, DevSecOps pipelines, and Zero Trust architectures. You will design, build, and optimize user-facing capability for client program while supporting Tier 1–3 enhancements, defect resolution, and integration activities in a multi-vendor Agile environment.

What you'll do

  • Produce and update front‑end development checklists, UI standards, and operational guides.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex UI components using React (hooks, context, lifecycle methods, advanced state patterns).
  • Build and maintain Vue components and assist with application migration or dual‑framework integration as needed.
  • Design and implement Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) with offline-first capabilities aligned to DDIL requirements.
  • Develop Electron-based desktop applications to support cross‑platform operational needs.
  • Implement Node.js‑based application modules, UI build tooling, and supporting backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns.
  • Architect front‑end state management solutions using Redux, Zustand, React Query, or similar libraries.
  • Consume secure RESTful APIs and implement robust async workflows (Promises, async/await).
  • Build UI features with TypeScript and ensure type‑safe interactions across the stack.
  • Utilize and configure module bundlers/build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or esbuild.
  • Write automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) using Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
  • Develop accessible, performant, and responsive UI layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks.
  • Collaborate with UX/HCD teams to translate wireframes and workflows into component-based solutions.
  • Work within CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows using Git (branching, PRs, peer reviews).
  • Apply secure coding practices compliant with Zero Trust principles and DoD cybersecurity policies.
  • Support DevSecOps initiatives including pipeline testing, security gates, and static/dynamic scanning.
  • Ensure UI components and architecture align with the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA).
  • Support of security documentation and tasks for Authority To Operate (ATO) in a federal government space
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide Tier 1–3 UI support for defects, field feedback, and technical enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers, DevSecOps engineers, and government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance.
  • 7+ years of professional front‑end development experience, with 3+ years focused on React and/or Vue.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Demonstrated experience building production-grade PWAs, Electron apps, or hybrid desktop/web platforms.
  • Deep expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and front‑end architectural patterns.
  • Strong working knowledge of Node.js for build tooling or application support.
  • Proven ability to lead technical design discussions and mentor junior developers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Solid track record delivering enterprise-grade UI solutions in collaborative Agile environments.
  • Self-directed with exceptional problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Cloud One platform
  • Experience supporting OPMED systems · Familiarity with Defense Health Agency systems such as (OMDS, MedCOP, MHS GENESIS)
