We are hiring!! We are looking for experienced Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team!


We offer year round work, great pay and benefits and a sign on bonus of $2,500.00*!!


SUMMARY OF ROLE
Howell’s Heating & Air Sheet Metal Mechanic installs, assembles, and maintains HVAC ductwork in large buildings, interpreting blueprints, fabricating and modifying metal/flex ducts, installing hangers, connecting to units, and ensuring airflow, requiring skills in math, blueprint reading, sheet metal fabrication (riveting, welding), and physical ability for varied conditions, working as part of a team to create comfortable, efficient environments.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Mechanical Aptitude & Math Skills: For reading blueprints and specs
• Fabricate, assemble and install commercial duct systems
• Blueprint Reading: Essential for accurate installation
• Physical Stamina: Lifting, climbing, bending in various environments
• Teamwork: Working effectively with other trades
• Tool Proficiency: Shears, drills, gauges, leak detectors, etc.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of commercial HVAC duct installation experience
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal tools and materials
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license is required, reliable transportation
