Registered Nurse - Neurological Unit

This position operates on a rotating shift schedule of 3x12.0, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback duties.

An exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit. This is an excellent unit to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome, and more! As a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in the region, we see many acute and complex patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion for our patient population.

Caring for patients with diverse neurological conditions.

Utilizing telemetry technologies to monitor patient health.

Collaborating with the specialty team for evaluating and treating seizures with cutting-edge video EEG technology.

Applying critical thinking and nursing skills in a dynamic environment.

RN License (New York Only)

Two (2) years of nursing experience

Telemetry experience is required

BLS certification (American Heart Association Only)

NIHSS certification
