Registered Nurse (RN) - PAT

Registered Nurse (RN) - PAT Position Summary 

Pre Admission Testing (PAT) nurses manage the preoperative preparation and assessment of all outpatients and the nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing surgical procedures based on the Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. This nursing care encompasses the biophysical, psychosocial, cultural, self-care, teaching and continuing care needs of the patients as appropriate to age and diagnosis. The RN utilizes the nursing process and standards of care established by the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN), the American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nurses (ASPAN, and Atlantic General Hospital.

Registered Nurse (RN) - PAT Position Requirements  

  • Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency. 
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR.
