EDP Dental Plan aims to simplify the process of choosing and using dental plans through clear communication and user-friendly services. Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas that improve customer experience, expand market reach, and strengthen relationships with clients and dental providers.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Salesperson at EDP Dental Plan. The Salesperson will prospect and qualify leads, conduct online or phone-based consultations, and present dental plan options to prospective individual and group customers. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, following up on inquiries, preparing quotes, and closing new business in alignment with company targets and compliance requirements. The role involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, collaborating with marketing and customer support teams, and participating in virtual meetings and training sessions. The Salesperson will also nurture long-term relationships, respond to client questions, and provide feedback on customer needs to improve products and sales processes.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in consultative selling, lead generation, and closing deals in a remote environment.
  • Experience with customer relationship management, including managing pipelines, documenting interactions, and maintaining organized account records.
  • Strong communication abilities, including clear phone and video communication, active listening, and professional email writing.
  • Comfort with digital tools such as CRM software, online meeting platforms, and basic office productivity applications.
  • Ability to understand and explain plan features, pricing, and benefits in a straightforward and customer-friendly way.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, handling objections, and adapting sales strategies based on customer feedback.
  • Previous experience in insurance, dental, healthcare, or benefits-related sales is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team in a remote setting.
  • Bilingual is a plus
