Echo Technologist

Catholic Health Physician Practices

Catholic Health is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Echo Technologist to perform high-quality echocardiographic studies and support accurate cardiac diagnoses. Join a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, and stress echo)
  • Analyze and calculate cardiac measurements (e.g., ejection fraction, valve gradients)
  • Identify normal and abnormal cardiac structures and function
  • Prepare and position patients; explain procedures clearly
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation
  • Maintain equipment and exam room cleanliness
  • Enter and transmit data into clinical systems
  • Collaborate with physicians and assist with contrast administration as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
  • ARDMS certification required or eligible 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with direct patient care
  • Strong computer skills and ability to lift/move patients and equipment as needed
