Job description

DUTIES:

• Drive by units and check exterior condition at least biweekly (based on units on assigned list)

• Conduct Housekeeping Inspections

• Place ads for apartments

• Call back interested applicants and give apartment information

• Show apartments

• Take and review applications

• Process Applications

• Maintain waiting list.

• Coordinate turnover process with maintenance

• Inspect vacant units when ready

• Schedule move-in appointments

• Coordinate section 8 inspections for move-ins

• Process RTA packets

• Process Section 8 Contracts for move-ins

• Follow up with caseworkers on delinquent subsidy payments

• Prepare tenant letters, notices, warning, etc as needed

• Tenant filing

• Interact with Residents and/or Board of Directors professionally and in a manner which creates good resident/management relationships

• Other duties as assigned by Property Manager/COO / Regional Manager and others from corporate office

Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years experience in property management, real estate, or office management. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess basic knowledge of accounting and administrative procedures. Have demonstrated ability to resolve resident, personnel, and basic financial problems. Basic computer literacy, preferably with knowledge of Word Perfect. Employee must be bondable.
