Job Description
The Asst. Driller will responsible for help functions for Driller, Tool Pusher, Rig Manager, Operator Rep. or Crewmembers as needed. Give Crewmembers guidance and support when and where it is needed.
Responsibilities
Personally responsible for own safety and conducting one-s self to the standards of Nabors Policies and Procedures Assist the Driller in operation of rig and equipment when needed Make sure all duties delegated by Driller for crewmembers are carried out safely and quickly as possible Help crewmembers with duties as needed Attending and participating in all safety meetings and drills Reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to direct supervisor Being involved in the Smart Program Constant checking of rig and equipment to make sure it is in good running condition and if any doubts something doesn-t seem right report it to direct supervisor Practice safe work habits and set an example for crewmembers Keep a good attitude towards your job and supervisors Give guidance to crewmembers when you see them doing something the wrong way Always be aware of what is going on around you Always wear your Personal Protective Equipment Do whatever is asked of you to the best of your ability Ensure understanding of, and compliance with, Nabors permit to work system
