Job description

MUST HAVE DME EXPERIENCE
HT HEALTHCARE CONSULTANT is looking for a well-rounded individual who can multitask
and has the ability to work where work is needed, while serving as assistant to the Office
Manager and staff in ordering durable medical equipment for patients.
Applying individual must meet the following QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid policies and guidelines
• Analytical skills required, attention to detail, organized and Multitasking
• Previous DME Experience preferred
• Customer service
• Proficient PC skills. (excel and word)
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Positions that may be assigned to you:
1) Document verification specialist: Verifying, obtaining, reviewing, and accurately
determining that all medical documentation received from physicians or referrals meet all
regulatory requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned.
• Handle all insurance verification
• Process patient's charts to ensure all missing documents are complete.
• Examine documents to verify required compliance, completeness, and accuracy of data.
• Process outgoing - incoming calls and mail.
• Schedule patient's appointments daily. / DME pick ups
• Order office supplies
• Control document databases, and corresponding files.
• Maintain computer database of all documentation that will allow secure document
retention and timely retrieval.
• Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the team
• Checking same and similar for Medicare/ Medicaid products
• Updating patient's statuses in our patient data base
• Communicating with our marketing team and perform internal marketing.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily and must possess the ability to: interact professionally and ethically with patients,
caregivers; handle multiple tasks simultaneously; provide clear, concise oral and written
directives/communications; quickly assess situations and respond appropriately; handle special
requests in a sensitive, professional manner. The requirements listed above are representative
of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Salary: $22-$25 per hour
Schedule: 9am-5pm
