SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Administer anesthesia, monitor patient's vital signs, and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia. May assist anesthesiologists, surgeons, other physicians, or dentists. Must be registered nurses who have specialized graduate education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or have completed CRNA education prior to the adoption of the DNAP standard and hold the appropriate degree required at the time of their certification

  • NBCRNA certification

  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
