Job Description:
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support semantic markup (i.e., evaluating and maintaining our markup standards--and focused in particular on changes we may need to support non-book content and modular content).
This person should have:
• Deep hands on experience with XML standards, with strong working knowledge of XML BITS 2.0 (XLIFF, XSLT, and QTI are strong pluses, as well)
• Experience supporting non-book content and modular content.
• Proven experience evaluating and evolving semantic markup models in complex, multi stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of modular content architectures, reuse strategies, and component based publishing.
• Demonstrated ability to translate abstract business needs into concrete, enforceable technical standards.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
