Job description

Pensacola, FL and Cantonment, FL

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and responsible caregivers to join our team and provide quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

Positions Available

  • Live-In Caregivers for two residential homes in Pensacola, FL
  • Caregivers for one residential home in Cantonment, FL
  • 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available
  • Weekend-only positions available

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living
  • Provide assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and other personal care needs
  • Assist with household chores, meal preparation, and cooking
  • Administer medications according to established procedures and care plans
  • Safely transport clients to appointments, activities, outings, and other community-based activities
  • Accurately and thoroughly document clients' daily activities, progress, behaviors, and other required information
  • Communicate client progress, concerns, and care updates to appropriate parties
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and members of the care team to provide consistent, quality support
  • Maintain a clean, safe, healthy, and comfortable living environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of experience in personal care, caregiving, or another related field working with individuals with disabilities
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Medication Administration certification/training
  • Ability to successfully pass all required background screenings
  • Ability to safely transport clients in the community
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely client documentation
  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to establish positive and respectful relationships with clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, follow established care plans, and complete assigned responsibilities
