Job description

Human Resources Assistant

Assist with all areas of recruitment (job posting, applications, tracking of applicants & hiring process, pre-employment testing, orientation, etc.) Provide assistance to employees and supervisors on a variety of basic policy and benefit questions. Update and coordinate the distribution of communication materials regarding benefits. Provide assistance for research and analysis for the coordination of special projects and reports. Provide assistance in the interpretation, application, enforcement, and maintenance of company policies and procedures. Assist with benefit administration, recordkeeping, training initiatives, as well as analyzing, summarizing and reporting benefits information. Act as custodian of departmental documents and records and is responsible for copying and filing of documents and record retention. Prepare new employee orientation materials/packets and assist with orientation. Provide backup support to other departments as needed. Handle high volumes of work under time constraints, which may require extended work hours. Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors. Perform other duties as assigned. Women, minorities and veterans encouraged to apply.

Two-three years working in HR department. Excellent interactions skills with employees Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and proficient math skills. Ability to demonstrate professionalism, tact, diplomacy and critical thinking skills when dealing with employees and the public. Ability to work with and assist employees.
