Job description

We are looking for an Assistant Director Engineering to join our team! The Assistant Director of Engineering is responsible in assisting with the upkeep and repairs at our location, this includes all facets of Maintenance.
Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in conjunction with others both inside and outside of the department.
  • 5 years' experience in a health care facility or similar environment.
  • Physically able to lift objects in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Must be reliable and able to report to work as scheduled.
  • Must be able to assume the duties of the Director in his/their absence
  • Familiar with ODH and Fire codes
  • Ability to be on-call for extended periods of time due to the absence of the Director and respond to emergency situations in a timely fashion.
  • Must be able to interact with inspectors and outside contractors. 
  • 3 years minimum experience in general building maintenance.
  • Sensitivity to senior adults and their needs.
  • Must be able to prioritize work orders
  • Must be able to work in excess of 40 hours per week, and weekends that you are scheduled for and or on call.
