This position works directly with high-profile varsity programs, serving as the primary academic counselor for Women’s Basketball and other Olympic or varsity sport programs (assigned based on department needs). The successful candidate will assist student-athletes in navigating academic progress, degree completion, career planning, and personal development while ensuring strict adherence to University of Maryland, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Physical Demands: The position requires prolonged sitting and computer use, as well as the ability to operate standard office equipment with manual dexterity. The role involves occasional standing or walking to attend meetings or conduct orientations and may require lifting light office materials (up to 20 pounds).
