Description

Position Summary: Manages business development and sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through leading subordinate supporting personnel team . Responsible for developing the given market area for New business/contract sales opportunities. The primary focus is to bring in new Service Customers and sales in targeted market areas as directed by Management . A list of target accounts will be provided or developed by the representative to make offers/calls/visits in pursuit of new business opportunities. Assist as needed in the price estimates and proposals for service work using the established worksheets, guidelines, and input. Maintaining contact with the key accounts and developing the relationship with the customer further.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develops and implements strategic sales plans to achieve corporate growth goals.

Develop robust customer relationships, identify and capture new business opportunities for assigned market and customer portfolio in line with company growth strategy achieving targets to ensure a strong new business pipeline.

Performs market analyses to determine customer needs including capability, technology, capacity over time to feed opportunity planning process and for the development of campaign win strategies. Develop competitor analysis.

Directs the development and execution of the business development vision, strategy, plans, and processes that will drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives .

Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed customer base expansion.

Manage Bid No Bid decisions, proposal development and capture of opportunities. including negotiating and closing deals.

Meets with key customers, assisting sales/Bd Team in developing and maintaining relationships.

Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist capture leads promoting sales opportunities and managing unprofitable items from the sales portfolio.

Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product sales

Coordinates liaison between Business Development team and the site GM and Operation’s team in support of business development plans.

Qualifications:

Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Five to ten years related managerial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Technical Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, customers, and/or boards of directors.

Physical Requirements:

Extended screen time

Long periods of sitting

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Travel Required: Frequent travel required to support both ALIGN business unit and customer demands.
