What You'll Do

As Assistant Spa Director, you will partner closely with the Spa Director to oversee daily operations, profitability, team development, and guest satisfaction. You will serve as a visible leader within the spa, creating an environment where both guests and associates feel valued, supported, and inspired.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of spa professionals, supervisors, and service providers.

  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Conduct coaching conversations, evaluations, and recognition initiatives.

Spa Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day spa operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and facility presentation.
  • Ensure all spa equipment and facilities are properly maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Collaborate with resort departments to create exceptional guest experiences.

Guest Experience

  • Champion luxury service standards and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Address guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance services, offerings, and operational processes.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Assist with managing departmental budgets, payroll, labor costs, and expenses.
  • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Support promotions, special events, and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Monitor productivity and scheduling to maximize operational efficiency.

Culture & Communication

  • Lead regular team meetings focused on communication, training, recognition, and engagement.
