Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Commericial (Data Center)  Electrician Foreman who is bilingual (English/Spanish) to lead and oversee electrical projects in an Data Center. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Data Center electrical work, especially MC 660 Terminations, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members. The Foreman will be responsible for coordinating electrical installations, troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, and managing a team of electricians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily 

    1. Timesheet Documentation 
    • Take a clear photo of the daily timesheet. 
    • Timesheet must include: Employee Name, Date, Time In, and Time Out. 
    1. Weekly Communication with PPS Leadership 
    • Maintain consistent communication with the PPS Leadership Team via phone call and/or text message at least once per week. 
    1. Workforce Oversight 
    • Monitor the performance and progress of all PPS Industrial Electricians. 
    • Report any issues related to Safety, Quality, or Productivity immediately to the PPS Leadership Team. 
    1. Leadership & Support 
    • Provide clear direction, leadership, and mentorship to all PPS Industrial Electricians on-site. 
    1. Attendance Management 
    • Notify the PPS Leadership Team of any employee attendance issues, including tardiness or absences. 
    1. Departure Notifications 
    • Inform the PPS Leadership Team immediately when any employee leaves the job site, whether voluntarily or involuntarily. 
    1. Daily Coordination 
    • Collaborate daily with the MMR Leadership Team to coordinate and align on job tasks and responsibilities. 

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) â€“ Required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial/Heavy Commericial electrician.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Must hold an active OSHA 30
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and terminations.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and direct electricians and apprentices.
  • Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and hand/power tools.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with 3-Phase terminations, industrial control panels, PLCs, and motor controls.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage systems, transformers, and power distribution.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Work Environment:

  • May work in various industrial settings including data centers, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and construction sites.
  • Exposure to loud noises, machinery, and varying weather conditions depending on the worksite.
  • May require lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
