ABOUT THE ROLE

The Data Center Electrician is responsible for overseeing and executing complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires advanced knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures. The Data Center Electrician will work closely with the Site Managers to lead and supervise the electricians and technicians on site, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with all regulatory standards.

We are looking to hire an experienced and certified Electrician to complete various projects and tasks as needed at various facilities and maintain our day-to-day
operational excellence. This is an essential role in our rapidly expanding infrastructure.

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure system functionality
  • Plan and manage electrical projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with other trades and contractors
  • Conduct extensive work on pad mounted transformers (PMTs) to include Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) Test prep, IR scans, ensuring proper torquing standards are met, etc.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations
  • Work closely with operations staff and facility managers to optimize repairs and maintenance efforts while also helping to develop and grow with other electricians
    across the company
  • Possess deep experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
  • PLC Programming a plus, but not required
  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations
  • On-call electrician for all our facilities, 24/7

ABOUT YOU
Ideal candidates will have extensive experience and certifications in safely installing and maintaining LV/MV electrical systems and components. HV experience is great to have, but not required. Ability to be a problem solver, diligent, hard worker, team player, and demonstrate flexibility. This is an exciting company that is experiencing amazing growth at a rapid pace.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must hold a valid Texas Apprentice Electrician License or higher, or a valid Journeyman Electrician License from a state with reciprocity recognized by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
  • Must have up-to-date certifications for role
  • 3-5 years of electrical experience
  • Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus+
  • Must pass a motor vehicle check
  • Must have own reliable transportation to get to and from the designated work site location
