About The Role
G2 is looking for a Lead Data Analystwhich will provide descriptive and diagnostic analysis to inform product decision-making, evaluate performance and make tactical recommendations.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Provide descriptive and diagnostic analysis to inform product decision-making, evaluate performance and make tactical recommendations.
  • Support and guide project-based work using analytic tools to produce datasets for analysis.
  • Use BI tools to empower end users with timely, accurate and informative data and visualizations.
  • Design dashboards to monitor KPIs and business drivers and ensure all metrics are consistent with business strategy.
  • Discuss questions and hypotheses with external and internal customers based on deep data analysis, and act as the G2 Data SME, turn them into analysis and insights.
  • Lead team discussions and collaborates with technical and non-technical team members to solve business problems.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to jr. team members, helping them understand complex datasets/models/business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our reporting and additional data management tasks you discover in your analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) in Data Analytics or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in data analysis role.
  • Must have four (4) years of experience in (experience may be gained concurrently):
    • designing dashboards and enabling self-serve analytics through Business Intelligence tools;
    • relational database modeling or experience in building reporting layers within Business Intelligence tooling;
    • Postgres and SQL databases;
    • performing QA on complex SQL queries for bugs, optimization and performance;
    • statistical programming with R or Python for the purposes of solving business Questions;
    • A/B testing and product analytics.
  • Remote work permitted five (5) days a week.
