Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Aladdin Data Integration Flows:
    • Analyze and support inbound/outbound data flows to/from Aladdin.
    • Understand integrations with trading platforms, custodian systems, and market data providers.
    • Assist in validating data movement across Aladdin and external applications.
  • Data Analysis & Validation:
    • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across trades, positions, holdings, and valuations.
    • Execute SQL queries to detect data breaks and validate transformation logic.
    • Support data completeness, accuracy, and consistency checks.
  • Domain Analysis:
    • Understand investment lifecycle flows and support IBOR vs ABOR reconciliations.
    • Analyze how Aladdin interacts with accounting platforms during migrations/replacements.
    • Understand Order Management System workflows and pre-trade controls.
  • Data Mapping & Documentation:
    • Create and maintain source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and data lineage documentation.
    • Document integration assumptions, data issues, and resolutions.
  • Integration & Transformation Support:
    • Work closely with data engineering teams, integration teams, and business stakeholders.
    • Support testing of ETL pipelines and API/file-based integrations.
  • Issue Analysis & Production Support:
    • Investigate data breaks, interface failures, and reconciliation mismatches.
    • Coordinate with multiple teams to resolve end-to-end data issues.
  • Agile Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Participate in agile ceremonies and work with business users, technology teams, and vendor partners.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Domain Skills:
    • Asset Wealth Management domain knowledge.
    • Strong understanding of securities, trade lifecycle, and exposure to IBOR/ABOR concepts.
  • Aladdin Integration Knowledge:
    • Understanding of Aladdin data model and workflows.
    • Experience with data migration and platform transformation.
  • Technical Skills:
    • SQL mandatory, with complex queries and reconciliation.
    • Data analysis tools like Excel and Python preferred.
    • Exposure to ETL tools, data warehouses, and APIs.
  • Data Skills:
    • Data profiling, quality assessment, and reconciliation break analysis.
    • Data governance and documentation.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to communicate with both business and technology teams.
    • Attention to detail and ownership mindset.

Experience Range: 

  • 8-10 years, can be adjusted depending on seniority.
  • Prior experience in Asset Management programs, Aladdin or similar investment account platforms like Simcorp or Portia preferred.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in large-scale Aladdin implementation or migration programs.
  • Exposure to custodian integrations and market data feeds.
  • Experience in data platform transitions, especially legacy Aladdin.
