Senior Data Analyst

Location: Seattle, WA Duration: Contract Rate: DOE

Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Champions efforts to improve business performance through enterprise information management solutions and capabilities, such as master data management, metadata management, business intelligence, content management, data integration, and related information management or information infrastructure disciplines and components.
  • Collaborate with all the end users / departments, internal stakeholder like Marketing, Inventory, Finance to establish KPIs and develop clear, consumable reporting. Help partners flesh out their questions, diving deeper and presenting your findings to them at the appropriate level of granularity and detail.
  • Synthesize data from a variety of sources to develop and present reporting and data visualizations develop the market analysis in the Marketing department.
  • Improve and support operational effectiveness through developing metrics and reporting to assist in making data-driven decisions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards/ reports to improve the system, marketing strategy, performance of each department.
  • Facilitates the development of enterprise data governance and policies, including appropriate data stewardship, data audit requirements, and service-level agreements to support the appropriate quality and use of information.
  • Develops forecasting models to drive decisions and strategy.
  • Define how report can be shared to different departments; how to manage row-level security, how to provide access to users or groups to get access to reports from different departments (Shared Service Model).
Qualifications
  • Understand about data, data model, data source, data architecture.
  • Strong business acumen and data analysis ability to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience building compelling dashboards using data visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Good knowledge about Data Governance.
  • Experienced with Retail, Marketing industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.
