Job description

Are you an organized and self-driven individual with a passion for analyzing and problem-solving? We’re currently searching for a Card Services Specialist to join our team. If this sounds like you, we'd love to chat! 

Job Description

  • Processes, reviews and analyzes fraud/dispute cases, documentation received from cardholders, and completes the dispute process in a timely manner in accordance with Visa Core Rules and Reg E.
  • Provides information and answers questions/inquiries from members and co-workers concerning all plastic card issues.
  • Reviews cardholder maintenance reports daily, update card status, review card order and reject reports for accuracy and make necessary corrections.
  • Utilizes automated monitoring reports and other fraud monitoring tools to minimize and/or prevent fraud, including coordinating with card processing vendor to fully understand and utilize available tools.
  • Assists in identifying process improvements and contributing to key projects and initiatives.
  • Greets members in a welcoming manner and assists them with account and/or credit union information via phone, in person, email, live chat etc.
  • Maintains related files and controls records.
  • Demonstrates the Credit Union's Core Values (Service with an EDGE, Solutions, Adaptability, Respect, Accountability).
  • Performs other job related duties required or assigned.

Requirements

  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Experience with
  • Experience with Fiserv XP2, Corelation Keystone, FINBOA, Card Wizard, Visa Assist, IDEMIA, and the following Jack Henry & Associates (JHA) solutions: Quick Assist, Data Navigator, For Clients Portal desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
  • Training for this role would report to our Goodwood branch for 12-16 weeks and would operate from the Goodwood branch until supervisor approval and performance have been established.
  • For Internal Applicants:
    • This position is hourly grade 5 and available to all four branches.
    • This position is eligible for hybrid work dependent on supervisor approval and department need.
