Position Summary
The Liquidity Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting the organization's liquidity position to ensure optimal cash management and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. They maintain treasury reporting, monitor key financial metrics, identify drivers of trends and variances, and communicate findings to management. This role supports strategic treasury initiatives, enhances liquidity risk management practices, and contributes to maintaining a strong financial position.
Essential Job Functions
  • Monitor daily liquidity positions, cash balances, and funding requirements across accounts and business units
  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Analyze liquidity metrics, trends, and variances; provide actionable insights to management
  • Support liquidity stress testing and scenario analysis to assess potential impacts on funding
  • Ensure compliance with internal liquidity frameworks, policies, and regulatory expectations
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Accounting, FP&A, Digital Banking) to optimize cash usage and funding strategies
  • Assist in managing bank relationships, credit facilities, deposit products and funding instruments
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for treasury leadership and senior management
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, controls and system enhancements within treasury operations
  • Support audits, regulatory reviews, and documentation requirements related to liquidity and treasury activities

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in treasury, liquidity management, or financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity risk, and general accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in financial systems (e.g., treasury management systems, ERP platforms) and data analysis
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment with deliverable deadlines
