ABOUT THE ROLE


Join our team supporting a cutting-edge innovation program within an industry-leading technology and materials science environment. In this role, you will play a central part in capturing, analyzing, and visualizing program data, transforming complex datasets into actionable dashboards and insights that drive cross-functional decision-making.

responsibilities:
  • Support the design and implementation of data capture processes to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent collection of program data.
  • Monitor, validate, and improve data quality by identifying discrepancies, resolving data issues, and establishing data governance best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to provide visibility into program progress, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful analytical solutions and visualizations.
  • Assist data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights that support innovation program objectives.
  • Establish and maintain documentation for data definitions, reporting methodologies, and data management processes.

qualifications:

Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.


1-5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, data quality management, and dashboard creation.


Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and/or Python/JMP.


Ability to work 100% onsite in Corning, NY.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Experience supporting R&D, product development, or technical innovation initiatives.


Familiarity with data governance practices, KPI tracking, and performance reporting frameworks.


Strong communication skills with demonstrated success presenting findings to multidisciplinary teams.
