Dental Data Entry Specialist

Virginia Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced Dental Data Entry Specialist. Dental experience (clinical or administrative) required. Experience with Dentrix and Carestack a plus.

Pay range is $19-$24/hour based on experience.

Typical work hours are 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday.

Data Entry Specialists accurately record and reconcile patient and insurance payment information while supporting Accounts Receivable Specialists and Insurance Coordinator Specialists.

Essential Job Functions

  • Carefully enter details like payment amount, date, payer information, and any relevant reference numbers into designated system.
  • Match payment information with the corresponding statements, claims, or other records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve any differences between the payment received and the expected amount
  • Enter insurance payments and calculate adjustments to accounts
  • Assist bookkeepers and insurance personnel in all offices with questions on accounts.
  • Assist in Month-End close and reporting

Minimum Qualifications

-1 year or more of dental office experience.
