Reports to: Executive Chef/Chef de Cuisine/Food and Beverage Director

Job Summary: Terra Mae is seeking enthusiastic and skilled PM line cooks to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in crafting our unique dishes, ensuring that each plate reflects the creativity and quality of our culinary offerings. You will work closely with our kitchen team to prepare, cook, and present food that not only tastes amazing but also tells a story.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and cook menu items to the highest standards, following recipes and specifications to maintain consistency.
  • Menu Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our unique menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, to ensure quality and authenticity.
  • Presentation: Plate dishes with attention to detail, ensuring that each dish reflects the artistic vision of our culinary team.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, always adhering to health and safety regulations. (Must have valid Food Handlers card or be willing to acquire one)
  • Collaboration: Work closely with fellow kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and seamless communication during peak hours.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and ready to assist in various kitchen stations as needed, from prep to service, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality and portion sizes, adjusting as necessary to meet our high standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a line cook in a restaurant or culinary setting preferred, ideally in an upscale dining environment.
  • Passion for food and a willingness to learn about cultural fusion and culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
