Description:Hybrid 4 days onsite in Lake Mary, FL
Our client seeks a Technical Project Manager within cybersecurity to drive execution across PKI and cryptography initiatives. The role centers on change management, cross-team coordination, vendor evaluations and POCs, and clear documentation in Confluence. The position is not hands-on engineering. The successful candidate will bring structure, ownership, and consistent tracking across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $82.00 to $92.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage change tickets, including approvals, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support vendor engagements and POCs with planning, coordination, and progress tracking.
  • Track execution across multiple cryptography and PKI initiatives and report status.
  • Create and maintain documentation in Confluence, including meeting notes and diagrams.
  • Facilitate cross-team alignment and communication across platforms and environments.
  • Plan around freeze windows and release calendars to reduce risk.
  • Assist with standing up new solutions and associated change management.

Experience Requirements:
  • Approximately 5+ years in cybersecurity or an adjacent domain.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager.
  • Exposure to PKI and cryptography, with conceptual understanding of HSMs.
  • Strong proficiency with change management processes and tools.
  • Demonstrated documentation skills using Confluence, Visio, and diagramming tools.
  • Experience with Jira or similar work tracking platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders with structured follow-through.
  • Nice to have: Experience with ServiceNow, cloud KMS tools, and cryptography vendors or tools.
  • Not required: Deep HSM troubleshooting, advanced cloud security engineering, or CISSP certification.
