Dairy One Cooperative is based in Ithaca, NY. We serve approximately 2500 dairy farm members throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. Our dedicated staff of over 250 employees stand ready to assist our members and customers each day.
Job Description:
As a DHI Field Sampling Technician, you will help your farms make decisions and achieve their goals (production & profit) by providing them with timely, accurate and meaningful data. You will typically work on a team led by a DHI Field Technician where your primary responsibilities will include set up/breakdown and cleaning of equipment and collecting cow data and milk samples.
You will be expected to communicate regularly with your team leader(s) regarding scheduling, to be dependable and prompt, and to uphold Dairy One Values of Integrity, Professionalism, Commitment, Innovation, and Positivity.
We are seeking people who have a passion for (and experience in) farming and the physical capability to do the work required. In order to apply you MUST have a High School diploma, at least one year of dairy farm experience and dependable transportation.
