**Detroit location required for weekly onsite requirements**

Position Summary

We're seeking a Copywriter to write for one of our leading quick serve restaurant clients with CRM and owned-channel marketing campaigns across email, SMS, push, and loyalty communications. This role partners closely with Design, Strategy, Messaging, project managers, and client stakeholders to develop, manage, and maintain approved customer-facing copy across national campaigns, weekly test plans, and promotional initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working directly within Figma, Word, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage copy for email, SMS, push notifications, subject lines, preheaders, and loyalty messaging
  • Work directly in Figma alongside designers during concepting and exploration phases
  • Partner with designers, strategists, and creative leadership during brainstorms, reviews, and revisions
  • Ensure dynamic variables, URL callouts, legal language, and personalization requirements are properly incorporated into creative files
  • Support national campaigns, promotional launches, test plans, loyalty programs, and retargeting initiatives
  • Build weekly messaging within Confluence adhering to testing fundamentals and best practices for copy development.
  • Draft new legal-review copy when required and prepare documentation for approval workflows
  • Update and maintain final approved copy documentation following creative approvals
  • Participate in internal reviews to validate messaging feasibility, audience requirements, personalization, and content accuracy
  • Review messaging consistency across segments, channels, and customer journeys
  • Ensure all copy aligns with brand voice, promotional strategy, legal guidelines, and CRM best practices
  • Collaborate with PMs and Creative Director to manage timelines, revisions, and stakeholder feedback
  • Assist with QA and DCS review processes by validating:
    • URLs
    • legal copy
    • personalization variables
    • CTA language
    • headline/body copy selections
    • audience consistency
    • promotional accuracy
  • Maintain high attention to detail across fast-moving campaign deliverables and versioning workflows
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of CRM, digital marketing, agency, or promotional copywriting experience
  • Experience writing for email, SMS, push, and loyalty campaigns
  • Strong understanding of approval workflows, dynamic content, and personalized messaging
  • Familiarity with Figma, Confluence, Microsoft Word, and collaborative project environments
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $62,800 - $85,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
