Job description

Job functions include but not limited to:


  1. Support the Controller in the day-to-day procedures to record, summarize, and report all operational, administrative, and financial transactions for the correct amount and in the appropriate general ledger accounts
  2. Detailed expense analysis. Budget to actual variance review & interaction with branches , executives, key departments.
  3. Monitor balance sheet review, account reconciliations and variances between current year results to last year to budget
  4. Analyze general ledger accounts, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports.
  5. Verify daily cash, check & credit deposits to POS system
  6. Sales tax audit assistance and filings
  7. Assist with annual budget preparation
  8. Assist in year end closing and interaction with outside auditors & tax preparers
