I am looking for a financial controller for a construction company in the Laurentians.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting a team of about fifteen accounting staff.
- Coordinating month-end activities and ensuring the books are closed.
- Reviewing accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
- Oversee the accounts payable cycle and validate accounting processes.
- Prepare and present financial statements for various entities.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to meet financial deadlines.
- Ensure tax compliance and drive improvements to financial processes.
- Participate in the development of cash flow forecasts and the optimization of financial operations.
