Assistant Controller Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced accounting and finance professional to join our team as an Assistant Controller. In this role, you'll work closely with senior leadership and play a key part in managing the company's tax compliance, treasury operations, cash flow planning, and financial reporting activities across a global organization.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to domestic and international tax matters, banking relationships, cash management, and strategic financial initiatives while contributing to the success of a growing multinational business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
  • Assist with the annual tax provision process, ASC 740 reporting, and tax-related financial statement requirements.
  • Partner with external tax advisors and auditors to support tax planning, compliance, and audit activities.
  • Coordinate expatriate tax programs, including tax equalization calculations and working with outside providers on employee tax filings.
  • Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to help leadership make informed financial decisions.
  • Monitor daily cash activity and support the management of banking relationships and treasury operations.
  • Assist with debt administration, lender reporting, and compliance with financial covenants.
  • Prepare treasury and tax reporting packages for leadership, lenders, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and help ensure strong financial controls and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen tax and treasury operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in corporate accounting, tax, treasury, public accounting, or a combination of these areas.
  • Understanding of corporate tax compliance, tax provisions, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and solve complex problems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
