This position offers the opportunity to contribute across financial operations, reporting, cash management, and business planning within a dynamic and growing organization. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, a proactive approach to process improvement, and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across the business. Immediate Hire What's in it for you: - Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 plus $20,000 bonus - Extended health care benefits after three months - Dental care benefits after three months - Life insurance benefits after three months Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes. - Manage working capital activities, including receivables, payables, and cash flow management. - Monitor financial performance and key business metrics, providing analysis and recommendations to support decision-making. - Prepare cash flow forecasts and support ongoing liquidity planning. - Partner with internal teams to ensure effective financial processes and operational alignment. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. - Assist with the development and enhancement of financial controls, policies, and procedures. - Participate in process improvement and system implementation projects. - Coordinate activities related to external audits and other compliance requirements. - Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required. Qualifications: - CPA designation (Canada) required. - 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience. - Previous public accounting and/or external audit experience strongly preferred. - Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls. - Experience with cash flow management, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is considered an asset. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to build relationships across departments.
