Description

As a member of a Program Management team, the candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and assist with the execution of Task Orders awarded under certain programs. The candidate will generate and update complex financial reports, track financial deliverables, identify and report any potential critical financial issues or shortfalls. The candidate will assist the Project Manager in monitoring all aspects of project execution and ensure budgets and project deliverables are maintained. Specific responsibilities and duties also include the following:

  • Acting responsible for all financial reporting within the program guidelines set by the Project Manager and contract requirement
  • Developing monthly and quarterly reports such as Task Order Status Reports, Staffing Plan Report, Personnel Listing Report and other contractual deliverables
  • Developing, maintaining, and advising the Project Manager on the execution of a spend plan to include details down to the CLIN/SLIN/ACRN/Ship Platform levels
  • Participating in monthly spend plan and schedule meetings with the Project Manager and government customers to identify potential funding/ceiling/manning gaps
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of the project Task‑books and WBS documentation as needed
  • Assisting the Project Manager with the development and execution of the project travel schedule
  • Supporting routine internal project subcontract and procurement activities such as Task Order modifications, Performance Work Statements (PWS), invoicing, and material acquisitions as needed
  • Coordinating and facilitating program meetings, reviews, and working groups as needed
  • Assisting the Project Manager with new hire onboarding and orientation activities
  • Assisting the customer in the purchasing of material requisitions; tracking requisition deliveries, and creating material receiving logs upon delivery
  • Assisting with the development and delivery of the Weekly Status Report

Requirements
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and/or combination of education and five years of project financial management and administrative experience is required
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
  • Active Secret clearance
Desired Skills
  • Previous experience working within the DoD contractor support industry preferred
  • Some experience the use of Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint to build and maintain org charts and flow diagrams
  • Ability to use Microsoft Project to perform routine tracking of IMS details
