Job description

The Communications Specialist, Website & Content supports the development, maintenance, and publishing of content across CDW's corporate digital channels. This role helps ensure website and newsroom content is accurate, timely, engaging, and aligned to CDW's brand and business priorities. The role is ideal for an early-career communications professional who is eager to build skills in corporate communications, digital content, storytelling, and content operations.
What you'll do
  • Support day-to-day updates to CDW's corporate newsroom, website, and digital content platforms.
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and publish clear and engaging digital content aligned to CDW's voice, brand, and messaging.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications, Marketing, Investor Relations, and other internal teams to gather information and support content needs.
  • Help maintain accuracy of corporate content, including company information, executive biographies, newsroom materials, and web pages.
  • Support basic SEO and emerging GEO best practices by helping ensure content is clear, accurate, searchable, and well organized.
  • Assist with content calendars, workflow tracking, approvals, and publishing timelines.
  • Review website and content performance data to help identify opportunities for updates or improvements.
  • Support administrative and operational needs related to content management, vendor coordination, and team processes.

What we expect of you
Minimum basic requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, English, or related field.
  • Internship, academic, project-based, or up to 2 years of experience in communications, marketing, digital content, journalism, or related work OR 4 years of experience in communications, marketing, digital content, journalism, or related work
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize work, manage deadlines, and follow established processes.
  • Interest in digital content, corporate storytelling, website management, and communications.
  • Comfort learning new tools, platforms, and processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners.

Preferred skills, experience, and qualities
  • Internship or project experience supporting communications, marketing, web content, social media, journalism, or digital publishing.
  • Familiarity with content management systems or willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, digital content best practices, or web writing.
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn about B2B technology and corporate communications.
  • Comfort working with evolving digital and AI tools.

Pay range: $58,000 - $80,400 depending on experience and skill set
