Built on trust, integrity, and a commitment to people, we take pride in creating spaces that strengthen the communities we serve while providing rewarding careers for those who help us build them.

As an Assistant Superintendent at Danis, you'll support the day-to-day execution of a large, complex data center project in Austin. This is a hands-on, field-driven role where you'll work closely with Superintendents, trade partners, and project teams to keep work moving safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You'll take ownership of specific scopes of work-helping coordinate trades, support self-perform operations, and solve challenges in real time. This role offers strong exposure to complex building systems and is a great opportunity to continue growing into a Superintendent position.

  • Take ownership of specific trades or areas of the project, ensuring work is aligned with schedule, quality, and safety expectations
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, field crews, and project teams to keep work progressing efficiently
  • Help plan and sequence upcoming work activities, identifying potential challenges early
  • Assist in resolving field challenges related to productivity, constructability, and trade coordination

Self-Perform & Trade Support

  • Support self-perform work, including coordination of manpower and execution in the field
  • Monitor productivity and ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment
  • Provide direction and support to field crews as needed to keep work moving
  • Assist with layout, field verification, and hands-on work when required

Quality, Safety & Standards

  • Help ensure all work meets project drawings, specifications, and Danis quality standards
  • Support a strong safety culture by reinforcing company and project safety expectations
  • Identify issues in the field and work with the team to address them proactively
  • Document and communicate any concerns or violations to leadership

Communication & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors to maintain alignment across the jobsite
  • Build strong working relationships with both field and office teams
  • Contribute to a team environment focused on accountability, communication, and getting the work done right
QualificationsWhat You Bring
  • 3+ years of construction experience in a field-focused role (Field Engineer, Foreman, or similar)
  • Experience working on complex commercial or mission-critical projects is a plus
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and field coordination
  • Familiarity with layout, scheduling concepts, and jobsite operations
  • Experience with tools such as BIM 360, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
  • A team-first mindset with strong communication skills and a willingness to take ownership
