Job description

Job Title

Supports scheduled events by providing after-hour coverage, assisting with room set-up and tear down, collaborating with catering, environmental services, and addressing customer concerns to ensure client satisfaction. Ensures all aspects of events are implemented and controlled according to the event request under the direction of the Conference Center Operations Supervisor or designee. Manages information desk of the Conference Center including answering phones and customer questions. Assist with projects and other duties as assigned by Conference Center Operations Supervisor or designee. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description Summary

Performs moderately complex administrative duties for one or more individuals within the department.

Essential Functions

  • Provides excellent service to both internal and external customers by applying best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Prepares correspondence, documents, reports and other materials which may be moderately complex or confidential, sometimes requiring independent judgment. Schedules appointments for department staff.
  • Participates in department projects of moderate scope and complexity.
  • May provide assistance in training and orientation of colleagues.
  • May assist in the completion of reimbursement requests for assigned staff.

Education Requirement

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
