Job description

A lovely older active couple in their eighties, on the Upper East Side, NYC, is looking to hire a full-time live-out (Could also be part-time, for the right candidate) assistant/companion. The role would be helping the older couple, who are still very active, to maintain their NYC apartment and run errands, administrative tasks and companion care.   The schedule would be 5 days a week from 11am-7pm, when in the city.  The family is looking for someone who has prior Park Avenue or 5th Avenue private home experience.  This position is looking to hire immediately.


  • Daily assistant/companion care responsibilities.  
  • Running errands
  • Helping with grocery shopping and replenishing household supplies
  • Must be comfortable with both meal prep and cooking
  • Liaise with other staff - housekeeper and driver
  • Drive the couple around to appointments, events, dinners, errands, etc.
  • Accompanying couple to their doctor's appointments
  • Making sure everything is prepared for upcoming trips
  • Helping them to maneuver the right buttons on the iphone or TV remote and printing things

  • Must be legal to work in the US
  • Must be comfortable driving and have a clean and valid license
  • Fully vaccinated
  • Steady and calm demeanor
  • Ability to proactively anticipate and solve issues
  • Prior nursing or medical experience is a plus
  • Meal Prep and be able to cook
  • Prior Park Avenue or 5th Avenue private home experience, is a plus
