WEBTOON Entertainment is a leading global entertainment company and home to some of the world's largest storytelling platforms. As the global leader and pioneer of the mobile webcomic format, WEBTOON Entertainment has transformed comics and visual storytelling for fans and creators.
With its CANVAS UGC platform empowering anyone to become a creator, and a growing roster of superstar WEBTOON Originals creators and series, WEBTOON Entertainment's passionate fandoms are the new face of pop culture. WEBTOON Entertainment adaptations are available on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Crunchyroll, and other screens around the world, and the company's content partners include The Walt Disney Company, HYBE, and DC Comics, among many others.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and launch tentpole marketing campaigns designed to attract new readers or re-engage lapsed ones. Oversee all aspects of campaign development, working in conjunction with internal teams and agencies to bring new programs to market.
  • Oversee performance marketing agency to manage ongoing paid media spend. Develop hypotheses, design programs and optimize campaigns with an ongoing focus on improving customer acquisition metrics.
  • Track and report campaign performance on an ongoing basis-including the impact on platform metrics as well as brand health indicators such as awareness, consideration, preference, and perception.
  • Explore new channels and partnerships to unlock new audiences and distribution opportunities.
  • Own the ongoing marketing calendar - tracking internal and partner schedules to ensure coordinated promotions across all key moments.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally within entertainment or fandom-driven industries. Experience in the comics industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of growth marketing, with proven experience developing and optimizing performance marketing campaigns.
  • Experience marketing to fandom-driven audiences and a strong understanding of fan communities and fan behavior.
  • Experience working within a global organization, with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence teams without direct authority.
  • Experience collaborating with internal creative teams and external agencies to develop impactful creative campaigns.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage consumer research, brand tracking, and campaign performance data to inform strategy.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives, budgets, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a dynamic work environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is a plus.
