Job description

Job Title: Color Guard Coordinator - Marching Band Program
Department: Department of Music / Band Area
Reports To: Director of Bands; Chair, Department of Music
Location: Tahlequah Campus
Compensation: 7,500 per fall semester 
Position Overview:
The Color Guard Coordinator supports the Marching Band program with a combination of technical instruction, gameday and event support, and other tasks as needed. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in high school/college marching color guard and/or dance performance and instruction. 
Key Responsibilities:
Attend all scheduled rehearsals, games, and other marching events
Oversee and execute performance preparation for all color guard and Sassy Hawk performances
Provide guidance and support for student performers
Assist the Director Bands in all aspects of color guard
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director of Bands
Qualifications:
Experience as performer in college/high school/DCI marching activities
Experience with high school/collegiate color guard instruction 
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
