Job description
Endoscopy Technician
This is a 13-week contract position.
6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 10-hour days
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a GI lab or operating room setting, and proficiency in all endoscopic procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with endoscopic procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
- Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment.
- Provide support to physicians and other healthcare professionals in the performance of procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
Required Experience:
- Prior GI lab or OR experience is required.
- Prior hospital or surgery center experience is required.
- Extensive endoscopy experience, including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy.
