This facility is seeking an Surgical First Assist Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.


Details and requirements for this opportunity:


  • Schedule: Monday through Friday; Full-time; start as soon as credentialed
  • Practice Setting: Surgical and Endoscopy/Colonoscopy setting (Outpatient and Procedural)
  • Types of Cases: General Surgery assistance, Endoscopy/Colonoscopy cases, minor procedures; must demonstrate competency assisting with the two-person colonoscopy technique under direct supervision
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 45 days
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified
  • Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
