Field Supervisor

Pay: Starting at $20/hour

About the Role

The Field Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring clients receive safe, high-quality care in their homes. This position bridges the gap between caregivers and clients - overseeing caregiver performance, monitoring compliance with care plans and regulations, and stepping in directly when hands-on support is needed.

What You'll Do

Client Onboarding & Compliance

  • Complete DMH new client openings, including all required paperwork and documentation
  • Conduct 2 hours of on-the-job training for each new Personal Assistant (PA)
  • Ensure adherence to care plans, agency policies, and applicable regulations

Direct Care Support

  • Provide DMH shift coverage as needed, including personal care, activities of daily living, and household duties

Caregiver Oversight

  • Schedule and perform in-field caregiver evaluations
  • Recognize and reinforce strong performance; identify areas needing improvement and provide coaching, in coordination with the Program Manager

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct monthly quality assurance calls/visits to monitor client status, care quality, and caregiver adherence to the Code of Ethical Behavior, dress code, and documentation standards
  • Investigate client complaints or incidents (e.g., property damage, caregiver concerns, non-compliance) in coordination with the Program Manager, and help implement action plans

General Support

  • Assist with general office tasks as assigned
  • Follow departmental policies, safety protocols, and infection control measures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
