Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scan tickets for guests arriving in the Cinema.
  • Monitor guests in the Cinema, being watchful of signals from guests who may be in need of service and ensure only ticketed customers receive entry into the Cinema.
  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information.
  • Operate digital projection systems and ensure films start and run on schedule
  • Perform regular checks on picture quality, sound levels, and auditorium conditions during show times
  • Monitor and adjust projection and audio settings as needed for optimal presentation
  • Conduct pre-show equipment inspections and troubleshooting to prevent technical issues
  • Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management
    Identify and resolve minor technical issues with equipment (e.g., no sound, projector not displaying)
  • Manage and secure all AV cabling, ensuring clean and safe cable runs
    Transport all dirty glassware/tableware from Cinema to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
  • Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around the Cinema and call for assistance if needed.
  • Assist in troubleshooting emergency service calls.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills

  • One-year experience in a public contact service position preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and associates.
  • Ability to operate a keyboard and Point of Sale system and follow operating procedures.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the cinema and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, move or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
  • Flexible schedule required AM/PM/Weekend/Holiday availability needed

Compensation

Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 HourlyTipped/Service Charge Eligible? NoDiscretionary Performance Bonus Eligible? No
