Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Conemaugh Health System, is a tertiary care regional referral hospital known for clinical excellence and nationally recognized patient outcomes. Conemaugh Memorial is the most technologically sophisticated hospital between Pittsburgh, PA and Hershey, PA and offers specialized services including a regional Level 1 Trauma Center, Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nurseryandhigh-risk obstetrical care.

How you'll contribute
  • Directs the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives.
  • Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
  • Administers the general accounting, patient business services, including third party reimbursement, financial, and statistical reporting functions of the hospital in accordance with established policies and accounting procedures.
  • Provides informal direction in data processing, distributed systems, material management and medical records functions.
  • Assures the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and assures that the reports reliably reflect the financial position of the hospital. Directs the preparation of internal financial reports including work papers for annual financial audit.
  • Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

    Salary Range: $112,400- $185,500
