Position SummaryThe Kitchen Manager is responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, organization, and exceptional food execution. This role works closely with the chefs and kitchen team to oversee expo operations, maintain sanitation standards, assist with food preparation for events and parties, manage inventory and ordering, and provide hands-on support wherever needed in the kitchen.

Essential Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations
  • Manage and oversee daily expo operations to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality food service (sidework, stocking, etc); Scheduling expos
  • Coordinate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams during service
  • Support kitchen workflow and assist chefs during busy shifts and peak periods
  • Ensure all food is prepared and plated according to company standards
Cleanliness & Sanitation
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, organization, and sanitation
  • Ensure compliance with health department regulations and food safety standards
  • Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure completion of daily and weekly cleaning tasks
  • Assist in maintaining equipment cleanliness and kitchen organization
Inventory & Ordering
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to leadership
  • Help receive and organize deliveries
  • Minimize waste through proper storage, rotation, and inventory practices
Event & Party Preparation
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of party and catering food orders
  • Ensure banquet and event food is prepared accurately and on schedule
  • Work alongside chefs to support prep execution for large events and busy weekends
Team Support & Leadership
Provide hands-on leadership and support to kitchen staff
  • Help train and reinforce kitchen procedures and expectations
